TL-WR700N provides 5 working mode.

1. AP. It is default working mode. In this mode, TL-WR700N works as a wireless access point. Plug and play, free of configuration.

2. Router. In this mode, TL-WR700N works as a wireless rounter. Cable in WAN, and wireless in LAN, so that wireless clients can share broad band.

3. Repeater. In this mode，TL-WR700N receives and emphizes wireless signal, and builds a new wireless zone, so that extending the original wireless zone.

4. Bridge. TL-WR700N connects another wireless network and emits wireless signal, builds a new wireless zone, so that it solves the signal descrease and signal blind point problem.

5. Client. In this mode, TL-WR700N works as wireless adapter.

TL-WR700N do not setup DHCP server by default under AP mode, it cannot assign IP to computer. Computer may need to assign IP address manually to access TL-WR700N configuration page. （TL-WR700N `s default IP address is 192.168.1.253）。You may need to set computer`s IP to 192.168.1.X（1≤X≤252），subnet mask：255.255.255.0，then go to http://192.168.1.253 to setup TL-WR700N.
